Description
Phonogramme line up four low-slung deep house cuts from Detroit and beyond, enlisting scene stalwarts Rick Wade and Gari Romalis alongside Ukrainian explorer Vakula and UK producer Jacksonville. No overstatements, just good, humid, heads-down-snoods-up good stuff for decompression in the afters. Wade leans into velvet textures and hazy melodics, Romalis keeps it rough and ready, Vakula prostrates a signature swirl of percussed DIY cosmics, and Jacksonville taps an epicentral UK broken beat root. A tight, fuss-free 12″ with no filler and a quietly heavyweight cast.
